6 Simple Ways to Achieve Mental Wellness


Apologies for missing posts in February. Work was getting too stressful and I needed to take a break to recharge my mental state of being. Well, I’m back stronger than ever so you can expect posts on a regular basis going forward. Also, by a strange quirk of fate, I received a post from a contributor to Mental Health & Wellness that was very similar to the reason that I took a small break from work. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did.

Life can be very difficult and even cruel at times. Once people pass from the innocence of childhood to the hard realities of adulthood, it can often be difficult to cope with all the negative experiences that come with being a grownup. For some people, it can become overwhelming. Depression, neurosis, anxiety and deep dissatisfaction with the way their lives turned out can turn normal, everyday existence into a living nightmare for many people. And if they don’t do anything about it, this path can lead to even more negativity, more unhappiness, and even mental illness.

But it doesn’t have to be that way. In the same way you can choose to let the struggles and humiliations of life get the better of you, it’s also possible to choose the opposite path: Optimism, an appreciation for the gifts and good things you have received in your life, and the ability to be genuinely happy and satisfied with your place in this world.
